Hi, I am Emily Lee. I joined Lee Properties in 1993 as the receptionist; I slowly worked my way up to Property Manager in 1995. I also married Robert Lee in September of the same year. I worked directly under Rita C. Lee whom at the time was the broker and my mother-in-law. Mrs. Lee is no longer active in brokerage but is still an investor in the campus area. I feel honored to have worked under someone who started in real estate here in Austin in the 1970’s. I obtained my real estate license in 1997. At first we only managed a few properties, mostly for family and close friends. I currently watch over our company, I also watch the market as we are still active investors.We have two wonderful kids that keep us very busy with soccer, guitar lessons and social schedules. My hobbies are exercising, reading, wine and enjoying time with my family and friends.
Director of Operations - Laurie Caudle, ARM
Laurie started her career in Chicago in 1990. Throughout the years she has had the opportunity to earn her ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) designation and gain experience managing high-rises, rehab projects, and new construction. Her dedication to the industry won her the prestigious award of ARM of the year. In Chicago she worked for Charles E Smith Residential Realty and managed more than 700 units. In Austin, she has had the opportunity to continue her involvement with IREM. Here she has worked for companies such as Archstone Smith, Colonial Residential and has overseen various notable development projects including Archstone Monterrey Ranch with over 1000 units, Colonial Grande at Silverado a lease up with over 700 units and The Villas on Guadalupe, the first student mid-rise product in West Campus. She is a licensed REALTOR, member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Board of Realtors, National Board of Realtors and the MLS.Assistant to the Director of Operations - Jessica Webster
Jessica has been around the Real Estate industry her whole life. She started out by answering phones at her father’s Coldwell Banker office when she was in High School. Lisa has over 18 years of management experience. She began her career in 1990 in retail management. In 1997 she started managing construction projects in Austin including remodeling, water extraction, re-roofing, siding and mold remediation. Lisa also has extensive knowledge in the repair of historical homes to insure their historical endorsement. In 2003, Lisa became a licensed Realtor and has managed property ever since. Lisa currently oversees management of our Lee Properties’ Portfolio.Assistant Property Manager - April Swartz
April recently relocated to her home state of Texas to be closer to family and continue her career in the Property Management field. She previously spent four years as Property Assistant to a diverse, corporate real estate team in Charlotte, North Carolina. During that time she helped oversee the functionality of several high rises while also working on obtaining her RPA designation through BOMA. April began her stint with Lee Properties as Resident Services Coordinator and has quickly climbed the ranks to her position today. Sales and Leasing Agent - Rachel Hoffman
Rachel is the leasing and sales manager for our campus office. She is a REALTOR, a member of the Austin Board of REALTORS and the MLS. In her 6 year career, she has sold 3 Million+ in Real Estate and leased thousands of rental properties as well. She specializes in the campus and Hyde Park areas. Kathy brings over 8 years’ experience in leasing and property management to Lee Properties. After working both as a leasing agent and assistant property manager for several notable property management companies, including Balcor Property Management and Fogelman Properties, she worked in the corporate offices of Capstone Real Estate Services as an accountant and property management software trainer. She now holds a Texas real estate license; and, although she specializes in student housing Kathy loves helping all renters find their new home, whether in an apartment, house, or condo.
